Quality Supervisor
Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Under management guidance, schedules work, maintain processes and procedures for inspection and quality control.
- Responsible for productivity and quality management to the extent that it falls within department control.
- Recommends equipment upgrades, staffing adjustments, process modifications and may recommend product or service modifications.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Specialized training in supervision
- Knowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, operations
- Knowledge of engineering concepts and procedures
- Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem solving skills
- 5+ years of job related training and experience
Work Environment: Work in well-lit machine shop with moderate noise. Staff member
work will be mostly completed while standing. Occasional lifting and working inside of machines in necessary. Some work in standard office environment.
